Man left with life-changing injuries after Purfleet collision

POLICE are appealing for information after a man sustained life-changing injuries during a collision in Purfleet.

The incident, which involved a white Fiat Sport, happened in London Road shortly before 5.30pm on Monday, 1 March.

The man, aged in his 60s, was taken to hospital in London with life-changing injuries to his leg, arm and chest.

The driver, a man aged in his 30s, remained at the scene and has not been arrested.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly anyone with dashcam footage of it, is asked to submit a report online where they can use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm.

You can also call police on 101 and cite incident 986 of March 1.
