Aveley 1, Barking 3

AVELEY'S interest in the Essex Senior Cup ended with a hope defeat this evening (Monday, 17 January) at the hands of near neighbours Barking in the fourth round.

George Okoye put the visitors ahead after just three minutes but the Miller were level ten minutes later thanks to Ryan Scott.

However, Okoye added his second four minutes into the second half and Charlie Heatley made sure for Barking with a last minute third.

Tilbury's scheduled Essex Senior Cup trip to Brentwood tomorrow has been postponed until Tuesday, 25 January due to ongoing floodlight issues at the Arena.

Senior Cup action will take place at Rookery Hill, Corringham, where East Thurrock United will entertain Coggeshall.
