FOR the second time in three days the M25 at the Dartford crossing has been disrupted by climate protestors.

They first struck as part of a co-ordinated series of protests on Monday at Junction 31.

This morning the protest, with others taking place around the motorway, was reportedly at Local news media reported that Princes Road in Dartford is partially blocked with queuing traffic backing onto the busy Dartford Crossing.

It was reported that at J1A and 1B of the motorway some people had glued their hands to the road.

Police attended but it was inevitable there would be significant displays. At 11.45am, with the problems compounded because of two broken down vehicles, traffic on the M25 clockwise was backed up as far as Junction 29 with similar queues on the Kent side approaching the tunnels.

Approach roads on both sides are massively congested.

The bridge and tunnels were back running freely by 1.30pm

The demonstrators targeted Junction 23 for South Mimms in Hertfordshire, as well as the main carriageway from Junction 8 at Reigate to Junction 9 at Leatherhead, both in Surrey.
