TILBURY FC is to play host to a coaching day for youngsters which will culminate in a penalty shoot-out competition.

The event, on Saturday, 7 July between 10am and 2pm will take place on the North Field, adjacent to the club's Chadfields ground and is being run in conjunction wityh the Port of Tilbury.

It's open to youngsters aged from four to 16 and everyone taking part will receive a Port of Tilbury football.

Port boss Paul Dale said: "The port has always had a close association with Tilbury Football Club and partnering with them to hold a football community event is a great way to get local young people active and involved with sport from an early age."
