TO mark the second week of Fair Trade Fortnight, the Co-op at Socketts Heath in Grays has been spreading the word about the event.

The store's Member Pioneer, Claire Mason, has been sharing the message of Fair Trade with local children.

Claire has already visited Deneholm School where she gave a talk and took some chocolate and bananas.

This week she will be visiting Grays Convent School and will also be making a donation from the Co-op to students who are having a sale and collection to support the Turkey and Ukraine appeals.

Co-op membership helps support local causes and the Co-op's national charity partners. See www.coop.co.uk/membership to find out more or become a Co-op Member.
