Taste of Aveley, a Tandoori Restaurant and Takeaway, started its journey in 1998 as a Family Business by Mr. Wahidur Rahman (also known as Raymond) who is a Legal Adviser and an entrepreneur.The management team of Taste of Aveley is led by Mr. Wahidur Rahman and his wife Mrs Asia Rahman. Mrs Rahman is in charge of accounting and relevant paper works of this business. In order to maintain the quality of service, the staff of Taste of Aveley have been taking part frequently in various dining and food related workshops and professional exams like Safer Food Better Business conducted by Thurrock Borough Council. Essential Food Hygiene – A professional exam taken by The Royal Society of Health.

In recognition of Taste of Aveley's pursuit of high quality customer service, Taste of Aveley has won a number of awards and certificates of excellence. A few of them are 5 Stars (Very Good) in Food Hygiene Rating – Awarded by Thurrock Council. Gold Award with Four Stars – awarded by The Affiliation of Master Chefs (UK) limited.
