FANCY joining the Towngate Theatre team in Basildon?

We're looking for a Theatre Technician on a full time, 2 year fixed term contract!

You will be responsible for supporting and facilitating productions, as well as backstage requirements for all events as directed by the Technical Manager or Deputy Technical Manager. This includes the operation and maintenance of the theatre on a day-to-day basis, including duties such as Duty Technician, Lighting Technician/Operator, Sound Technician/Operator, Flyman, Followspot Operator, Stage Crew and Seating Call.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of technical theatre, facilitating and supporting large-scale productions, hires and events. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is flexibility with working hours.
