Is missing Cornelia in the Horndon area? Police seek young woman with back pack who may be out in the open.
POLICE are appealing for help to try and find a missing 22-year-old woman from Purfleet.
Cornelia Maruna was last seen this morning (Thursday, 11 February) in Basildon.
Officers and her family are worried about her, particularly with the very cold temperatures predicted overnight.
A police statement said: "We want to find her to make sure she is okay. We ask anyone who has seen Cornelia or know where she is, to get in contact with us by calling 101."
She is described as being around 5ft 2ins tall, with shoulder length dark hair and was last seen wearing a black coat and carrying a colourful backpack. She is thought to have been in the Horndon area last night, Wednesday, 10 February, so may have returned there.
