MP checks out lifesaving team in Tilbury

THURROCK MP Jackie Doyle-Price visited the Lung Health Check facility currently being operated from Tilbury.

The MP today (Friday, 21 May) visited the Targeted Lung Health Checks programme team operating the CT scanning unit at Asda Tilbury, and heard first hand how many residents have already benefited from the lung health checks programme.

She met with the Lung Health Checks team, Thurrock Clinical Commissioning Group and Clinical Leads for the programme.

More than 4,000 people aged between 55 and 75 who have ever smoked have already been sent an invite to have a lung health check, if you have been invited and not taken action, make sure you book your appointment straight away.
