ESSEX Police has issued pictures of two motorbikes they have seized after an operation to combat nuisance bike riding in the Stanford-le-Hope area.

The force says it mounted an operation to track down the bikers, who have been fined, after concerns expressed by local residents.

A statement from the force said: "Today (Sunday, 10 January) we've responded to your concerns about nuisance motorbikes ridden on land in Stanford-le-Hope.

"As well as being anti-social, it's a clear and blatant breach of the Covid regulations.

"We've seized the bikes and issued fines to the riders."
