School smashes coronavirus fundraising target and goes for more

By Neil Speight 30th Mar 2020

A THURROCK school has smashed a fundraising target within a week.

Since the rise of coronavirus Thurrock, local communities across the borough are experiencing unprecedented challenges. However, nothing will stop Arthur Bugler Primary School from Stanford-le-Hope continuing to spread happiness and support to their local community.

The school launched a crowdfunding page in a bid to raise £1,000. All money raised from this fundraising effort will go towards supporting vulnerable families of the school's community.

Headteacher, John Bryant, said: "The effects and impact of coronavirus will be different for everybody. Arthur Bugler is more than just a school. It is a school that is at the heart of the community and prides itself on working with everyone to ensure people are happy and safe. At this very challenging time we are looking to provide support, however small, to some families who will be in need at this difficult time."

Within one week, Arthur Bugler exceeded the target and are welcoming further donations to extend their support to even more families. To donate Click here
