There's a bonus for someone special after Co-op draw for Mind

By Neil Speight   11th Sep 2020

A TWIST of fate turned a charity draw into a double winner.

Thurrock Nub News editor Neil Speight visited the Co-op store at Sockets Heath where Thurrock Mind's James Lally was drawing the winning tickets in a fundraising draw organised by the store's Member Pioneer Claire Mason.

Neil had purchased a number of tickets when promoting the draw last week and James not only drew out his ticket as the first prize winner, but another for runners up prize.

That went back into the bucket but we would like to find a good home for the first prize of a Co-op hamper.

So we are inviting readers to nominate a deserving cause via the 'comments' button below and we will pick a winner at random. Please visit our Facebook page to make your nomination
