Histon 0, Tilbury 2

TILBURY bounced back from the disappointment of a midweek defeat against Brentwood to take all the points - albeit in late and somewhat controversial circumstances at Histon.

The match looked set to end all square after Histon keeper Phil Peachey produced a 71st minute penalty save to deny David Knight and then pulled off another fine stop to deny the same player.

However, Knight was not to be denied his 20th goal of the season which came in stoppage time – though Histon were incandescent that the referee had not spotted what they believed to be a foul in the build-up.

And moments after the restart Tilbury doubled Histon's misery with a second goal, this time from sub Ola Ogunwamide.
