A CHAFFORD Hundred family have made their home a real Christmas spectacle once more to raise funds for St Luke's Hospice.

For the past couple of years Lewis and Solvita Kooner of Maunder Close (RM16 6BW) have put on a great festive light show - and last year raised £790.02 for St Luke's who had been caring for Lewis's father.

Sadly he passed away in January, making this year's light display all the more poignant and special for the family.

They are inviting local people to pop along and see the lights, which will be only display until the new year - and for them to make a donation to St Luke's.

Lewis, who spent several days putting up the lights, said: "We are dedicating this year to Dad and would like to thank St Luke's for all the great work they do."

If you can't visit Maunder Close and would like to see more, you can do so via Lewis's Facebook page, which also has pictures from previous years and other displays the family have put on.

If you have - or know of a Christmas display that deserves to be featured on Nub News, please let us know via our Facebook page or by emailing [email protected].
