999 teams unite for Havens fundraiser in Grays

By Neil Speight   5th Jul 2022

AMBULANCE service staff and firefighters will be making a splash on Sunday (10 July) to help out Havens Hospice.

Sian Carney and colleagues at Grays ambulance station, together with fellow emergency workers from the adjacent fire station on Hogg Lane, will be hosting a car wash between 9.30am and 4.30pm.

Sian said: "We are doing this to raise money for Havens Hospice who are caring for a colleague and  dear friend to give him some much needed support.

"Please spread the word, come and get your car cleaned or even just pop by to make a donation! We will also have refreshments and other things happening to boost the funds!"
