FOLLOWING news that Thurrock Council has sanctioned the reopening of the Thameside Theatre, a local drama group plans be among the first to tread the boards again.

Thurrock Courts Players will be staged the comedy thriller 'A Butler Did It' at the Thameside Complex from Thursday, 23 September to Saturday, 25 September.

Because of the limited time for rehearsals, the group has decided that entry to the production will be free.

Potential audience members will still have to book tickets, via the council's online booking system.
