BOROUGH residents are being invited to take part in an event at Belhus Park Leisure Centre on Thursday, 17 August at which it is hoped to recruit more volunteers.

Between 6 and 8pm a tour will be available of the historic parts of the Belhus site as part of the Community Gardens Volunteer Engagement Day.

Residents will be able to visit the heritage ruins and learn how they might be able to help maintain the land around them.
