A13 was closed while emergency crews dealt with four vehicle accident

THE eastbound A13 was blocked around 6pm this evening (Monday, 17 April) will emergency services dealt with a multi-vehicle accident.

It happened close to the Five Bells roundabout.

Essex Fire and Rescue Service sent three appliances to the crash site, but firefighters were not required.

Police have confirmed that four vehicles were involved in the incidetn but there were no significant injuries nor any arrests connected with the incident.
