A13 eastbound blocked by lorry fire near Stanford

THE A 13 eastbound, just past the Horndon on the Hill footbridge was closed around 1.30pm today (Wednesday, 23 August) for teams of firefighters to deal with a blaze in a waste lorry.
A significant number of crews including an aerial platform ladder were deployed to deal with the incident.
