STAFF and students from Olive AP Academy are inviting the whole community of Thurrock to join them for festive fun at their first Christmas Bazaar.

The academy, in Tilbury, provides provides a broad curriculum to a diverse group of young people and children who have experienced difficulty in learning for a variety of reasons. It also offers support to students in mainstream schools who are experiencing difficulties and are at risk of exclusion.

The academy moved to new premises on Leicester Road in Tilbury in July 2017 and this year sees them host their first bazaar, which will be opened by borough mayor Cllr Terry Piccolo at 4pm on Wednesday, 11 December and everyone is invited to come along for free mulled wine and mince pies.

There will be craft stalls, a tombola, a raffle with a fantastic hamper to be won, an indoor bouncy castle, a chance to meet Santa in his magical grotto and a performance from the Aveley and Newham Brass Band. Free entry for everyone.
