Air Ambulance at Blackshots

THE Essex and Herts Air Ambulance landed at Blackshots playing fields yesterday (Thursday, 9 May) evening to assist with a medical emergency at the leisure centre.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called just before 7pm on Thursday to attend a medical emergency at Blackshots Leisure Centre in Grays.
"Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"One patient, an adult male, was transported by road to Basildon University Hospital for further treatment."
