ASDA'S Tilbury store was the latest venue for a Re-engage tea party.

The locally-based charity which supports local and vulnerable people once again were hosted at the Tilbury store cafe, which frequently plays host to all the Thurrock groups organised by Re-engage.

Regional co-ordinator Loraine Coleman said: "A very big thank you to Kim, Asda's community champion and Asda Store, Tilbury, for hosting a lovely tea party today (Sunday,. 18 February) for our Thurrock Re-engage tea party guests.

A birthday surprise for Janet.

"There was lots of lovely chatter, laughter and friendship and we celebrated Janet's birthday.

"Such a special treat for us.

"Asda is very generously hosting a tea party for all of our eight tea party groups throughout 2024. Such generosity and kindness!

"Thank you to Maggie who worked with Asda to organise these lovely events. These special tea parties could not take place without the amazing dedication of our wonderful volunteers, thank you to you all."
