THURROCK Nub News broadcast live this evening (Thursday, 28 May) from the Port of Tilbury, where the port police force - one of seven port forces in the UK - turned out by the site entrance to pay tribute to the NHS.

As they joined in the nationwide salute to carers who have battled coronavirus, lorries passed by tooting their horns and ships in the port blasted their horns.

Across Thurrock many residents took to their gardens and front doors to pay tribute too. In Chadwell St Mary there was a march of the dinosaurs from Rob Lay and his daughter! Watch them here.
