A YORKSHIRE-based planning company has submitted an application to Thurrock Council about its plans to build a new primary school to the south of Aveley.

Few details are available about the origins of the application on behalf of Eco Modular Buildings, which is asking the council for an evaluation of its plans, even though detail is sparse.

The proposal for the 'Harrier Primary School' is on land adjacent to A13 and Love Lane and is for a building, with associated facilities including playing fields, that will accommodate 420 primary school pupils and 52 nursery children.

The application for an environmental impact assessment (EIA) screening opinion can be viewed in full via this link.
