Art show in town will boost Ukraine appeal and promote local talent

AN art exhibition will be held in Stanford-le-Hope this coming weekend.

It will feature the work of a number of local artists using different mediums including acrylic, oils and watercolour and there will be traditional and modern styles.

The exhibition on Saturday, 7 May and Sunday, 8 May will be open between 10am and 4pm at Creative Photography at 8, King Street.

Admission is free, though donations will be accepted for the Ukrainian Appeal, with all the artists taking part having already made a contribution to start the fundraising.
