DUE to coronavirus the 40th Anniversary London Marathon was cancelled on Sunday (26 April). However, nothing could get in the way of Arthur Bugler Primary School wanting to complete the mighty challenge!

In a bid to tackle the 26.2 mile distance, members of the Arthur Bugler community were tasked to travel as far as they could over the weekend. Children and adults alike rose to the challenge and together they managed to cover 283.86miles (and 42 star jumps)!

Arthur Bugler Teacher, Lucy Chipperfield said: "I am overwhelmed by the amount of people who contributed and supported this challenge. We exceeded all expectations and have shown together, anything is possible."
