AVELEY and Kenningtons Community Forum are urging Residents in Aveley to have their say.

Today (Monday, 13 January) is the second Aveley Design Workshop at St Michael's Church Aveley High Street from 2pm until 8pm.

Residents are invited to pop in and see the progress so far from comments collated from a previous workshop.

Thurrock Council are looking at building 32,000 homes in Thurrock and they are looking at Aveley as an area to build some of those properties.

This is an opportunity for Residents to express their thoughts and ideas relating to this.

A local forum representative said: "We already live in an area where there are not enough Doctors appointments, the roads are gridlocked every week, schools appear to be at capacity. These key things need to be looked at beforehand and the balance has to be right."
