Meeting for those wishing to take part is the approach road from 10.15am, ready for starting at 10.30 until 12:00.

Steve Catchpole, River Action Clean-Up Facilitator for the Thames21 River Action Group, says: "The weather forecast is looking promising, so if you can find the time to help please ensure you wear weather appropriate old clothing. All equipment will be supplied.

"No need to register - just turn up."
