Last home sold on estate in Grays
THE last house on a new estate in Grays had now been sold with its builders claiming completion of a 'vibrant, new community'.
All 102 homes at Bellway's Devonshire Place on Devonshire Road are sold now, with most already occupied and the final few to follow in the coming months as construction work is completed.
Homes at Devonshire Place range from two-bedroom apartments to two, three and four-bedroom houses.
Emma Hamlett, Sales Director for Bellway Thames Gateway said: "We were mindful of creating a broad range of homes to fit people's differing needs and feel confident we achieved this aim.
"People have chosen to live at Devonshire Place because it has everything they need. Every home has allocated parking and all houses have gardens. Lakeside shopping centre is nearby and Grays High Street and market are only one mile away. Grays Railway Station is a five-minute drive away and the nearby road links mean people can easily travel across the South East by car."
Bellway contributed more than £500,000 towards new school places and £40,000 for healthcare as part of its planning agreement with Thurrock Council. The developer also provided 23 affordable homes for people who live in the Thurrock area.
