Ben's back for another term of office
CEO Lyn Carpenter announces Cllr Maney's return to the civic chamber.
ANOTHER longstanding Thurrock Conservative councillor maintained his position in the chamber as Ben Maney emerged a comfortable winner in Little Thurrock Blackshots.
Cllr Maney, who was first elected in 2004, starts his latest term of office after a victory against Labour's perennial roving candidate Cliff Holloway.

- Clifford Holloway (Labour) 571
Majority 335
Electorate: 5,118. Ballot Papers Issued: 1,488. Turnout: 29.07%.
