AN older motor bike rider was injured and taken to hospital after a collision on the A13 near the North Stifford interchange thios morning (Friday, 14 June).

It happened shortly before 9.55am and involved his motorcycle and car.

The rider, in his 70s, was taken to hospital after he sustained serious injuries, though they are described as 'not life-threatening'.

The section of road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and vehcile recovery and fully reopened at 11.30am.
