Bike rider taken to hospital after A13 collision near Stanford

A MOTORBIKE rider was injured in a collision in queues on the A13 near Stanford-le-Hope that had been caused by an earlier crash.
The original collision on Monday (24 February) involved a car and a lorry on the Five Bells roundabout about 4.45pm.
Around 90 minutes later there was a second collision. An Essex Police spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a collision on the A13 at the five Bells roundabout at about 6.15pm.
"It was reported a van and a motorcycle had been involved in a collision.
"The bike rider was taken to hospital by paramedics for further assessment."
