AS part of weekend of special events to fundraise and increase the profile of Thurrock and Brentwood Mind, Grays Town Park will host a fun day today (Saturday, 28 August).

The park will also be the final destination for a relay bike event involving riders from Thurrock, who will motor from Brentwood to Thurrock, calling at a nunber of venues on the way.

he Great Mind Aid Relay will be between 10am and noon when arrival is expected at Grays.

A message from Mind says: "Why not head down to Grays Park and join us for a fantastic day of fun, laughter and fundraising!

"Our amazing fundraisers are putting on an event to raise money for our charity, and we'd love to see as many of you there as possible."

On Sunday, the Ship pub in Little Thurrock will host Mind Aid, a musical event featuring many artists.
