Body discovered is confirmed as that of missing Grays man

A BODY discovered in Thurrock on Monday (14 March) has been confirmed as that of missing Grays man Kieran Devlin.

Mr Devlin, 33, was last seen at about 2pm on Wednesday 22 December.

A police statement issued today (Wednesday, 16 March) says: "We are no longer looking for Kieran Devlin following the discovery of a man's body in Grays on Monday.  

"A post-mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death before a file is submitted to the coroner.

"We are providing support for Kieran's family."
