WHILE bin crews have been kept off the roads today and will not be back out until Monday because of the dangerous condition of borough roads, Thurrock Council has confirmed that the Household Waste and Recycling Centre on Buckingham Hill Road, Linford, will be open.

The council announced yesterday (Thursday, 12 February) that waste bin collections will continue to be suspended until Monday at the earliest, having been halted on Tuesday because of snow and ice on borough roads.

Today they have confirmed the the tip will be open and should remain so over the weekend.

You can check rules and regulations for attending the tip here.
