Breakdown delayed bus services

BUS services heading west along London Road in Stanford-le-Hope were briefly delayed around noon because of a lorry breakdown.
The car transporter broke down on the junction with Stanford Road meaning buses struggled to pass.
A tow truck from the operator's yard near Orsett was called and managed to pull the vehicle to a non-obstructive place where it is now awaiting recovery from a larger vehicle.
