By Neil Speight 6th Jun 2021

MOTORISTS and residents have been thanked for their patience by Thurrock Council after the authority announced completion of the demolition of the old Orsett Cock roundabout west bridge.

The roundabout has now been reopened.

A statement issued this morning (Sunday, 6 June) said: "The old Orsett West Bridge has now been demolished. Thank you for your patience while this work took place. The roundabout has now been reopened, but the A13 remains closed until 5am on Monday, as the clear up continues."
