TWO members of a notorious Grays family appeared in court following acts of violence in the town.
Adam Price, 29, of Park Avenue, admitted affray, two counts of possessing a sword, two counts of criminal damage and common assault.
He received concurrent sentences for criminal damage and assault, totalling three years and one month in jail.
His sister, Rosie Price, 24, of Lodge Lane Rosie received a 12 month community order and 30 days rehabilitation.
The duo appeared at Basildon Crown Court where the story of an afternoon of violence in Grays town in June 2018 was recalled, as was a second incident later that year.
In both incidents Adam Price was in possession of a sword which he used in a threatening manner.
Members of the large Price family, who courted controversy several years ago when Thurrock Council purchased and converted two adjoining houses in Lodge Lane for them to live, have frequently been brought before the courts for their anti-social behaviour.
Adam Price has a long history of violence. When he was 20 he was locked up for ten months for punching a teenager in the face and attacking another man just ten minutes later.
