THREE young brothers from a Thurrock family will be performing at a charity show at the iconic Circus Tavern next week.

On Friday, 15 December the Purfleet-on-Thames venue will host the Essex Pearlie Kings and Queens' fundraising Christmas Spectacular with starring acts Keith Kingham, Jay Clark and Jay Terry and a full support cast of acts and dancers - including Thurrock's Turner Brothers.

The Turner boys - Robin, Wren and Jay - have been invited to attend after reaching the final of the Basildon's Got talent competition earlier this year.

The boys absolutely love to perform and attend Youth Creation Performing Arts School in Stanford-le-Hope nearly every day of the week, attending classes ranging from Street Dance to Singing and Gymnastics to Guitar.

They are all also currently preparing for their Grade 3 Piano exams!

Two of the boys go to Horndon on the Hill Primary School and the eldest to St Clere's. They will be performing three numbers and are so excited to not only be performing at this amazing event but also to be helping raise money for such a worthy cause.

The Christmas Charity Show is put on by Maggie and Denis Roberts and once again will be raising funds for Breast Cancer charities - a cause the group have supported for more than 25 years.

This year the Show is in tribute to stalwart Pearlie Queen Laraine Leach, who passed away recently.

Maggie started the Pearlie Queens in 1999 and it has had many Queens, Kings, Princesses and Princes over the years, all helping to fundraise at many different venues but always celebrating their Christmas Show at the Circus Tavern, on Meads Corner (RM191TS)

Last year's show raised £5,000 which was donated to the Breast Unit at Southend Hospital and an additional £400 from the Raffle which was donated to help people with Autism.

This year's event is set to be even bigger and better than last year! Doors open at 7pm with the first act performing at 8pm. Food will be available on the night and a disco will follow the acts so you can party the night away after enjoying the entertainment!

If you'd like to purchase tickets, contact Carly Turner on 07939 151441. Adults are priced at £12 with children's tickets being £6.
