Brown bin week in the east

TODAY (Monday 15 June) is the beginning of brown bin collection week in the east of the borough.

During the coronavirus pandemic Thurrock Council is collecting the brown garden and kitchen waste bins on a fortnightly basis, with collection crews working through wards from Monday to Friday.

From today brown bin garden and kitchen waste collections will take place in the following wards:

Chadwell St Mary, Corringham & Fobbing, East Tilbury, Little Thurrock Rectory, Orsett, Stanford East & Corringham Town, Stanford-le-Hope West, The Homesteads, Tilbury Riverside and Thurrock Park and Tilbury St Chads.

Blue and Green (& Black) bin collections will continue on a weekly basis as normal.
