Call for info over suspicious activity in village

GRAYS CID are appealing for information in relation to a male trying car and house doors in the area of Wingfield Drive and Hew Watt Close, Orsett.

The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday 17 October around 2.15am.

A police spokesperson said: "Did you see anything, hear anything or your CCTV capture any footage around this time and date? Please send details/CCTV footage to [email protected] or call 101 and ask for Grays CID.

"Alternatively, contact independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

"Please ensure to keep door and windows locked at night, store car keys away from doors and windows."
