RESIDENTS in Thurrock are being asked to help secure the future of the Thameside complex and its theatre and cinema by supporting events coming up over the coming half terms.

Staff at the complex say: "We need your support in order to continue our Wicked Wednesday half term cinema screenings.

"Times are tough for families, and we understand the need for accessible prices. Which is why we offer kids events at budget-friendly prices, like Wicked Wednesdays, which is just £3.50 per ticket.

"Last time, many of you came the rescue and helped us fill our film screenings, if you are able to, please support Wicked Wednesdays again and help save our cinema."

Coming events are:

The Little Mermaid | Cert PG

Wednesday 25 October | 11am

Matilda the Musical - SINGALONG | Cert PG

Wednesday 25 October | 3pm

A spokesperson continued: "If you've been before or always fancied going now's your chance, book your tickets today for a perfect family outing that won't break the bank!

"Don't forget to tell your friends and family with kids about our upcoming films..and whilst you're at it, help us spread the word about all our upcoming shows...like our Christmas pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.

"Your support means the world to us!"
