Call for volunteers for Purfleet pick

RESIDENTS in Purfleet-on-Thames are being encouraged to help clean up their community in two events that are upcoming.

The town's community forum has arranged two Saturday litter picks on 16 October and 13 November.

The first is from 10am until noon and those taking p[art are invited to meet at the former Baptist Church entrance.

The second is also two hours long, starting at 10am when the meeting point is Purfleet Care Centre car park.
