A DISTRESSED woman from Stifford Clays is hoping neighbours and residents will help find her missing pet - a 17-year-old cat called Dolly.

Louise Sarah, who lives at 46 Goddard Road, Stifford Clays, says Dolly wouldn't normally leave her garden but she was 'cat-napped' by someone and has failed to return home.

She says: "Someone who lives round the corner to me took her from the front of my house, took her into their house overnight and then let her go the next day.

"I've spoken to this person and also looked in their house. She's not there and their stupid actions have lost my cat.

"She's not been seen for more than a week, which for an elderly cat which doesn't go anywhere is unusual.

"I think she's now lost or disoriented due to this person's actions.

"I have been sharing, out searching day and night, leaflet dropping massive areas around my house but no luck.

"I'm so desperate to get her back in her senior years."
