IN a bid to look at how services might be improved, residents in Thurrock are being surveyed about the provision of care.

The survey is being carried out by Healthwatch Thurrock whose staff will be out and about in the borough visiting residential Care homes, groups and individuals in receipt of care, including care given at home listening to the views and feedback from residents and service users.

Healthwatch Thurrock, the appointed independent Health and Social Care champion for the people of Thurrock, says: "Residents' views are collected to aid in identifying the need for change, considerations before commissioning and to support best practice across services.

Healthwatch are encouraging residents to have their say on the care they receive by filling in an online survey (accessible via the red button below) or contacting Healthwatch on 01375 389883.
