THE redevelopment of Purfleet will be top of the agenda at the next meeting of the town's community forum next month, when the online discussion will centre on news of a major cash injection into regeneration.

As reported on Thurrock Nub News this past week £75 million has been secured from the government's Housing Infrastructure Fund which is supporting the £1 billion overall regeneration project for Purfleet

Purfleet-on-Thames Community Forum's next meeting and AGM is on Tuesday, 26 January at 7:30pm and the cash will be a significant topic of conversation, not least because members will be told the £75 million ensures the future of the town's planned integrated medical centre is secure.

Speakers will be briefing meeting participants on that and in addition other topics will include Neil Brand from Essex Police talking about his new roll and there will be other local news, updates including councillor comments.
