Thurrock Council will be carrying out road studs installation work to a section of Buckingham Hill Road from Stanford Road junction to the Household Waste and Recycling Centre later this week.

Work is planned for a night on Thursday, 9 November and the working hours will be between 7pm to 5am, during which time Buckingham Hill Road will be closed between Stanford Road and East Tilbury Road.

During the road closure a full signed diversion route will be in place via Muckingford Road, Linford Road, Brentwood Road, Orsett Cock Roundabout, Stanford Road and vice versa.

Access to Tarmac Plant, Hoford Road and properties located south of HWRC will be maintained via East Tilbury Road/Walton Hall Road junction.

The council says access to properties within the work area is restricted but will maintained where practically possible and adds: "We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause."
