Chance to quiz town police team leader this evening!

By Neil Speight   28th Nov 2019

THE officer running three town centre policing teams in Thurrock is to host a public forum on social media to discuss how they are deployed.

Sgt Ben Forbes, will be on Facebook this evening (Thursday, 28 November) to answer questions from residents.

He says: "Our town centre teams have been in force for just over three months and are continuing to keep our towns safe and welcoming for visitors and residents as the busy festive season gets underway.

"In Thurrock, we have three teams that cover Grays, South Ockendon and Stanford-le-Hope.

"This is the perfect opportunity for me and Essex Police to share the brilliant work your town centre teams have delivered since our creation.

"I am also really interested to hear your feedback and comments on our teams, and welcome all questions, ideas or feedback during our live Q&A session.

"I look forward to speaking to everyone on Thursday 28 at 7pm!"
