CHANGES to a planning permission are being sought that would lead to an additional 148 tanker movements to and from a site in West Thurrock.

The changes are being sought by the Fiddlers Reach Truck Stop which is in the process of being redesigned.

As part of the changes to the site's existing use, new electronic gates would be fitted on the Wouldham Road entrance to the site.

Its operators say using Wouldham Road would be more advantageous than all of the vehicles, which are mostly petrol tankers, using access via Hedley Avenue.

The full details of proposed changes and the opportunity to comment can be found via the link below.
