Child involved in collision with vehicle on busy road

A CHILD received treatment from paramedics after being involved in a collision with a vehicle on a busy borough road yesterday (Wednesday, 19 February) evening.
The incident happened around 7pm adjacent to the petrol service station on Southend Road in Grays.
As well as an ambulance crew, police officers also attended.
A statement from the East of England Ambulance service says: "One ambulance was sent to Southend Road, Grays, yesterday evening following reports of a child injured in a road traffic collision.
"One girl was assessed at the scene, but no ambulance transport was necessary."
The girl was left in the care of relatives who were called to the scene.
